Job summary

Network Finance seeks a Senior Fund Accounting Manager in Randburg to lead fund accounting activities within the Employee Benefits space. You will work with senior leadership to improve processes, manage staff and drive contractual negotiations.

The ideal candidate has a CA or BCom with CIMA/SAIPA, 7+ years in fund accounting, and strong CaseWare/Everest experience. You will develop controls, supervise audits, and deliver accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant or BCom with CIMA/SAIPA articles.
• 7+ years’ experience in fund accounting (Employee Benefits).
• Experience with CaseWare and Everest.

Responsibilities

Senior Fund Accounting Manager

Our iconic client is seeking a Senior Fund Accounting Manager who would be responsible for assisting in the origination and negotiation of contracts, improving and perfecting processes, developing and maintaining procedures within the Fund Accounting division, as well as training and managing staff.

• Work with COO/Deputy COO to ensure programmatic success through cost analysis support.
• Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the funds.
• Oversee the coordination and activities of independent auditors ensuring all issues are resolved and complied with.
• Develop, implement, and manage effective financial controls.

Job Experience & Skills Required

• Chartered Accountant or other related financial BCom degree with CIMA or SAIPA articles.
• 7+ Years’ experience in fund accounting within the Employee Benefits space (non-negotiable).
• Good report writing and presentation skills.
• Experience working with CaseWare.
• Prior experience working with Everest.

Package & Remuneration

800 000.00 - 1 500 000.00 - Annually
