Overview
The Senior Fund Accountant for the Price Source & Scrubbing team focuses on the performance of controls to ensure accuracy, quality and efficiency relating to instrument pricing. This role involves managing daily pricing processes, validating pricing sources, and collaborating with various departments to meet reporting deadlines and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- NAV Calculation: Support the accurate calculation of daily, weekly, and monthly Net Asset Values (NAVs) by providing reliable pricing data.
- NAV Calculation: Collaborate with the NAV calculation team to address any pricing-related discrepancies.
- NAV Calculation: Verify and reconcile pricing data with fund holdings and other financial information.
- Pricing Data Management: Oversee the daily collection, validation, and scrubbing of pricing data from various sources.
- Pricing Data Management: Apply knowledge of financial instruments to ensure that securities are correctly valued.
- Pricing Data Management: Monitor and execute instructions and queries relating to instrument valuation (include all instrument types, different vendors).
- Pricing Data Management: Apply exposure to vendor systems to source instrument information for valuation.
- Pricing Data Management: Investigate and resolve any pricing issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Compliance and Regulatory: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards for pricing and valuation.
