Job summary

ATS Client is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, build, and scale high-performance platforms in a real-time transactional environment. You will develop backend services with Node.js and TypeScript in a microservices setup, contribute to Angular front-end work, and collaborate with product teams to deliver scalable, reliable features.

The role emphasises distributed systems, cloud platforms, testing, and mentoring, within an agile delivery-focused team that values engineering

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Backend with Node.js and NestJS.
• Experience in microservices and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Strong SQL (PostgreSQL or MySQL).
• Event-driven architecture and messaging systems.
• Exposure to Angular or similar frontend.
• Cloud platform experience advantageous.
• CI/CD experience (GitLab preferred).
• Strong testing practices across the development lifecycle.
• Experience in financial services, payments, or regulated environments (advantageous).
• Exposure to crypto, digital assets, or stablecoin environments (advantageous).

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Experience with microservices and distributed systems
• Proficiency in TypeScript

• Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems
• Exposure to Angular or similar front-end frameworks
• Cloud platform experience (advantageous)
• CI/CD experience (GitLab or similar preferred)
