The position requires a strong Java engineer with full-stack capability to contribute across architecture, backend, frontend, cloud deployment and AI integrations.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong commercial experience with Java.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot.
• Experience developing modern web applications.
• Working knowledge of Angular or another modern single-page application framework.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, REST APIs and OO development.
• Experience using Git within professional development environments.
• Practical experience with Docker and containerised applications.
• Experience with Maven and IntelliJ.
• Understanding of scalable architecture and modern software practices.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle from discovery to deployment and production support.
• Design maintainable, scalable software solutions and APIs.
• Containerise and manage applications using Docker.
• Support cloud deployments, primarily in Azure environments.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and engineering best practices.
• Integrate AI capabilities, models or APIs into products where appropriate.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain high standards of quality and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve architecture and tooling.
