Job summary

Tetrad Group in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack .NET Developer to design, develop and maintain enterprise applications across backend and frontend.

You will translate requirements to robust solutions, work in an Agile environment, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable software using C#, .NET Core, Angular, REST APIs, and cloud-based deployments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience, full-stack focus.
• Strong hands-on C# and .NET / .NET Core expertise.
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC/Web API and Angular frontend.

• Familiar with TDD, automated testing, and code reviews.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack .NET Developer to join a high-performing technology team within a leading financial services environment. The role involves designing, developing, testing, debugging and maintaining enterprise applications across both the backend and frontend, working closely with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, debug and maintain full-stack applications.
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications and working software.
• Develop backend services and applications using C#, .NET / .NET Core and ASP.NET.
• Build modern frontend applications using Angular and related web technologies.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and enterprise system integrations.
• Work with SQL and relational databases, including writing and optimising queries.
• Contribute to application architecture, technical design and software engineering standards.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide production support where required.
• Work within Agile development teams and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other developers, architects, product owners and business stakeholders.
• Support DevOps, CI/CD and cloud-based deployment practices.

Requirements:

• 8+ years' software development experience, with strong experience in full-stack development.
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET / .NET Core.
• Experience with ASP.NET, including MVC and/or Web API.
• Strong experience with Angular.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Understanding of microservices and system integration.
• Experience with modern software engineering practices, including TDD/automated testing and code reviews.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps and CI/CD.
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure / cloud environments.
• Understanding of secure software development and OWASP principles.
• Experience within financial services or banking.
• Experience with Bootstrap and/or Angular Material.
• Experience with Docker/containerisation.
• Experience working with enterprise-scale applications.
• Experience with production support and root-cause analysis.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Relevant equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
