Placements24 is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a progressive tech startup in Bloemfontein, Free State. You will build and scale web apps using Node.js on the backend and React on the frontend, while mentoring peers and guiding architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Proven experience with React.js and Redux.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services with Node.js and Express.js.
• Build responsive UI with React, Redux, and related libraries.
• Integrate frontend and backend components for cohesive UX.
• Develop and manage RESTful APIs and DB schemas (SQL/NoSQL).
• Write clean, well-documented code following best practices.
• Implement automated testing (unit, integration, E2E).
• Optimize performance, scalability, and security of applications.
• Collaborate with product, designers and engineers to translate requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose improvements.
