Placements24 seeks a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our FinTech client on-site in Centurion, Gauteng, SA. You will drive React Native mobile development, architect scalable frontend solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.

We expect 5+ years in frontend development with strong React Native expertise, JavaScript/ES6+ proficiency, and solid mobile UI/UX understanding. The role offers a collaborative office environment and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of frontend development experience with at least 2 years in React Native.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, ES6+ and modern frontend frameworks.
• Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX for iOS/Android.
• Experience with state management libraries (Redux/MobX) and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Experience with native build tools is a plus.
