Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance fitness program offerings and member satisfaction.
• Manage, train, and mentor a team of personal trainers, group fitness instructors, and wellness coaches.

• Drive sales initiatives for personal training, group classes, and other fitness-related services.
• Ensure the facility is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and equipment functionality.
• Monitor fitness department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Cultivate a welcoming and motivating environment for all club members.
• Manage budgets and financial performance for the fitness department.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging fitness modalities, and competitor activities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the fitness industry, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Sports Management, Health Sciences, or a related field is preferred.
• Nationally recognized fitness certification (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM) is required.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
