IFRS 17 Technical Specialist
A highly skilled and experienced IFRS 17 Technical Specialist is required to lead the implementation, reconciliation, and reporting of financial statements across various groups.
The successful candidate will collaborate with actuarial, risk, and finance teams to ensure alignment from source data to GL and Risk Integrity systems.
Prepare and own financial statement disclosures, including cash flow statements and notes for Group and Life.
Lead the IFRS 17 budgeting and forecasting process in partnership with actuarial teams.
Engage in monthly variance reporting and support strategic decision-making with clear insights.
Ensure full compliance with audit, tax, and regulatory reporting standards.
Drive ongoing process optimization, documentation, and best practices in financial governance.
Proven experience in IFRS 17 financial management, ideally within insurance or financial services industries.
Recognised ability to manage high-stakes reporting, audit interaction, and regulatory deadlines.
