About the Role

Our client, a reputable financial services group, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Advisor specializing in insurance solutions in Bloemfontein . This role involves providing expert financial and insurance advice to individuals and businesses, helping them achieve their financial goals through tailored insurance strategies. You will build and manage a client portfolio, ensuring comprehensive risk management and wealth protection. This is a client-facing role requiring regular office presence in Bloemfontein and client visits.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth financial needs analyses for clients to understand their risk exposure and protection requirements.
• Develop and present personalized insurance and investment recommendations, including life cover, disability, health insurance, and investment-linked policies.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing ongoing advice and support.
• Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell insurance and financial products.
• Stay current with market trends, product developments, and regulatory changes in the financial and insurance sectors.
• Achieve and exceed personal sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the branch.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial advisory and FAIS regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate policy issuance and claims support for clients.
• Mentor junior advisors and contribute to team development.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant regulatory examinations (RE5) and professional qualifications (e.g., CFP, NQF Level 5/6 in Wealth Management/Financial Planning) are essential.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Advisor, with a strong focus on insurance products.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• In-depth knowledge of life insurance, disability, critical illness, and investment-linked products.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ethical conduct and a commitment to client best interests.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Bloemfontein , Free State.
