Job summary

Lotus Hr And Recruitment seeks an experienced Accountant for a leading Agricultural/Export group head office in the Winelands. The role demands strong financial accounting experience in Export, FMCG or manufacturing, including FX transactions and inventory control.

Candidates should have a BCom or related degree with CIMA or SAIPA accreditation and 5–10 years of full financial function experience, with ERP exposure (SAP, QMuzik, Syspro) and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• BCom or related degree with CIMA or SAIPA accreditation and 5–10 years of full financial function experience.
• Experience in monitoring monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting and internal controls to mitigate risk.
• Experience in costing, IFRS, VAT returns and income tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze monthly financial reporting.
• Assist in formulating group annual budget and forecasting.
• Maintain internal controls to mitigate risk.
• Oversee costing, VAT returns and tax compliance.
• Manage foreign exchange transactions and inventory control experience.
