We are currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant / Team Lead to join a dynamic organization within the services and forex environment. This opportunity is ideal for an individual with a BCom and completed SAIPA or SAICA articles who is ready to step into a leadership-focused role.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee financial accounting processes including monthly management accounts and reporting.
• Lead and mentor the finance team ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Manage forex-related transactions and fund flow (FFF) processes.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations budgeting support and financial analysis.
• Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external stakeholders.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualification and Skills Required

• BCom degree with completed SAIPA or SAICA articles (essential).
• Minimum of 3 years post-articles experience.
• Experience working with forex and FFF (fund flow management) processes advantageous.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles financial statements and monthly reporting.
• Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
