A national supplier of chicken products is seeking a thorough individual for the position of Senior Divisional Financial & Treasury Manager. The successful candidate will manage financial activities, cash flow, and ensure sufficient working capital. Applicants must have a CA (SA) qualification and significant managerial experience. Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills are essential for this role, which offers a great opportunity in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years' experience with a minimum of 4 years in a managerial role.
  • Poultry experience will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Financial Accounting functions.
  • Control divisional costings, approval, and reporting processes.
  • Submit daily cash analysis and manage short-term and long-term cash forecasting.
  • Maintain banking and debt facilities; and payment processes to prevent financial risk.
  • Maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and review annual budgetary process.
  • Implement solid financial controls within the division.
  • Responsible for the preparation of all company AFS.
  • Overall management of tax processes and submissions (Income, PAYE, VAT and Carbon).

Sovereign, a national supplier of quality chicken products to various markets with operations in five provinces, is seeking a thorough and committed individual for the position of Senior Divisional Financial & Treasury Manager.

The successful applicant will report directly to the Operational Executive : Finance.

This position is responsible for managing the division's financial activities and manage cash flow and ensure sufficient working capital for business operations.

The job holder must hold a CA (SA) qualification, 5-8 years' experience with a minimum of 4 years in a managerial role is a requirement.

Poultry experience will be an added advantage.

This position carries the grade of T16.Responsibilities

  • Manage the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Financial Accounting functions
  • Control divisional costings, approval, and reporting processes
  • Submit daily cash analysis and manage short-term and long-term cash forecasting.
  • Maintain banking and debt facilities; and payment processes to prevent financial risk (all banking activities and reconciliations).
  • Maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and stakeholders
  • Prepare and review annual budgetary process.
  • Implement solid financial controls within the division and ensure that there are no significant control weaknesses in the divisions with respect to the balance sheet and management accounts.
  • Responsible for the preparation of all company AFS
  • Overall management of tax processes and submissions (Income, PAYE, VAT and Carbon).
