About the Opportunity: We are looking for a skilled Senior Finance Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis.

This opportunity offers the chance to oversee bookkeeping, payroll, and compliance functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations and accurate record-keeping.

The role is ideal for someone with solid bookkeeping experience who enjoys working independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Role Overview: As a Senior Finance Administrator, you will be responsible for processing financial transactions, preparing statutory submissions, and assisting with monthly reporting.

You will ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, maintain accurate financial data, and provide professional support to clients and suppliers.

Key Areas of Responsibility :
  • Process supplier invoices, customer invoices, and perform reconciliations.
  • Prepare and post monthly journals, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
  • Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register.
  • Oversee payroll preparation and statutory submissions (VAT, PAYE, UIF).
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Liaise professionally with clients and suppliers to resolve queries and provide support.
Personal Competencies & Skills :
  • Qualification in Accounting or Finance (Diploma, Advanced Certificate, or Degree).
  • Minimum of 5 years' bookkeeping or financial administration experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks.
  • Strong knowledge of VAT, PAYE, UIF, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work independently.
  • Fluent in both Afrikaans and English (written and spoken).
