A leading technology firm in South Africa is seeking a skilled professional to provide support and installation of networking equipment. The ideal candidate should have strong telephony device experience and be proficient in Cisco and Huawei systems. Responsibilities include installation, configuration, and support of network devices, as well as managing stock levels. Candidates should hold relevant certifications such as N+, A+, and CCNA, with leadership capabilities preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong telephony device experience required.
• Good technical knowledge of LAN and WAN infrastructure.
• Excellent in-depth network knowledge essential.
• Understanding of Sdwan solutions is beneficial.
• Good understanding of Wireless solutions needed.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for 1st and 2nd line support and installation of network devices.
• Install, configure, and support Cisco and Huawei customer equipment.
• Ensure devices are configured correctly for deployment.
• Manage regional support stock levels.
• Attend and advise solution scoping meetings.

Skills

Technical knowledge of LAN and WAN infrastructure

Strong telephony device experience

In-depth network knowledge

Understanding of Sdwan solutions

Good understanding of Wireless solutions

Education

N+ A+ CCNA or equivalent

HCNA HCNP preferably CCNP
