Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Event Strategist to oversee the delivery of high-quality corporate and public events.

Responsibilities
  • Conceptualisation, planning, implementation, and client retention.
  • Demand Planning and Budget Management: Draft and manage event budgets, financial reconciliations, and procurement processes to ensure successful event execution.
  • Supplier Management and Compliance: Oversee supplier contracts, SLAs, and compliance with regulatory policies and client expectations.
  • Creative Proposal Development: Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver innovative proposals and tenders that meet client needs.
  • Client Relationship Building: Foster sustainable relationships with clients and identify opportunities for new business growth.
  • Project Documentation: Provide detailed project documentation, including rollout plans, risk analyses, and reports to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in event management, including at least 3 years managing large corporate or public events.
  • Tertiary qualification in event management, project management, marketing, or hospitality (advantageous).
  • Strong financial and procurement management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and lead teams effectively.
