Job description

Senior Estate Security Technician

to lead maintenance servicing and repair operations across estate security infrastructure. This role oversees all technical functions related to access control perimeter protection and surveillance systems while managing two on-site assistants.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Gallagher Access Control including controllers door hardware and integrations.
• Service fault-find and repair electric fencing systemsand perimeter intrusion solutions.
• Maintain configure and troubleshoot Axis cameras including analytics such as Perimeter Defender integrated on Milestone VMS.
• Support and maintain Ideama Waveand biometric readers including fingerprint and wave-based identification devices.
• Support and maintain Boom gatesand Turnstiles including loops and basic assistance on Scanners/ WIFI.
• Ensure optimal operation of guardhouses perimeter equipment security communication systems and estate monitoring infrastructure.
• Conduct routine inspections generate service reports and recommend upgrades or corrective actions.
• Lead and supervise two technical assistants providing guidance task allocation and on-the-job training.
• Uphold compliance with estate security standards health and safety requirements and system configuration best practices.

Requirements

• Strong technical background in electronic security systems.
• Proven experience with Gallagher Milestone Axis electric fencing Turnstiles Boom gates and biometric technologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting reporting and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a high-security environment.
