Job summary

A national public entity is seeking an ERM Consultant to design and refine its risk management framework in Pretoria, Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in enterprise risk management, strong qualifications, and a valid IRMSA certificate. This full-time role offers the chance to influence organizational resilience and ensure risk management is integrated into decision-making.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise risk management, preferably in the public or corporate sector.
• Must have a valid IRMSA certificate.
• Proven ability to develop and implement robust risk frameworks and policies.
• Experience facilitating workshops and mentoring internal teams.
• Deep understanding of governance principles, King IV, POPIA, and PFMA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review and diagnose current risk management practices, culture, and frameworks.
• Develop and strengthen key risk management frameworks.
• Lead the development of policies, strategies, and tools for risk management.
• Facilitate risk workshops and training sessions.
