Placements24 is seeking a Senior Environmental Services Technician in Midrand, Gauteng to oversee cleaning and sanitation across multiple sites. The role focuses on maintaining high hygiene standards, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive cleaning experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage schedules, equipment, and chemicals safely while supporting a growing facilities management operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in professional cleaning/sanitation; at least 2 years in supervision.
• Proven knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe application.
• Proficiency with industrial cleaning equipment and maintenance.
• Strong health and safety knowledge in commercial/industrial settings.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team with a solid work ethic.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Physical stamina for demanding tasks including standing and lifting.
• Shift work including occasional weekends; valid driver’s license advantageous.
