You will lead EIAs, permit submissions, EMP development, and cross‑functional collaboration with dispersed teams to ensure regulatory alignment across projects in the North West region.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree and 8+ years in environmental consulting, with strong SA regulatory knowledge and excellent reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in EIAs/BAs and permitting processes.
• Excellent report writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong knowledge of SA environmental legislation (NEMA, MPRDA, Water Act) and regulatory frameworks.

• Lead and manage Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and Basic Assessments (BAs).
• Prepare and submit environmental permit applications to authorities (DEA, DWS).
• Develop and implement environmental management plans (EMPs) and monitoring programs.

• Conduct environmental audits and site assessments.
