Placements24 is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer for a leading environmental consultancy in East London, Eastern Cape. You will lead EIA studies, develop EMPs, conduct site investigations, and ensure regulatory compliance while mentoring junior staff.

You will apply SA environmental legislation knowledge (NEMA, MPRDA), manage projects and budgets, and contribute to business development in a collaborative office environment.

Formación

• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering with environmental focus, or related field.
• Professional registration with ECSA or relevant body.
• Minimum 7 years in environmental engineering consulting.
• Proven track record managing EIAs, EMPs, and compliance projects.
• In-depth knowledge of SA environmental legislation (NEMA, MPRDA).
• Experience with environmental modeling and monitoring techniques.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with report-writing capability.
