You will analyze national and international policy developments, author reports, and engage with diverse stakeholders to shape sustainable energy pathways in South Africa and beyond.

Formación

• Master's degree or PhD in Economics, Public Policy, Political Science, Environmental Studies, or a related field with a focus on energy.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in energy policy analysis, research, or consulting.
• Demonstrated expertise in energy economics, market design, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to conduct rigorous quantitative and qualitative research and analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in producing high-quality reports and policy documents.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, climate change mitigation, and energy transition pathways.
• Experience engaging with policymakers and diverse stakeholder groups.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on national and international energy policies, regulations, and market trends.
• Evaluate the economic, social, and environmental impacts of proposed and existing energy policies.
