Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Energy Policy Advisor to shape national and regional energy strategies from a remote home office. You will conduct in-depth research, analyze policy issues, and develop recommendations to promote clean energy, energy efficiency, and grid modernization.

The ideal candidate has a master's or PhD in a related field, at least six years of policy analysis experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Public Policy, Economics, Environmental Science, Law, or a related field with a focus on energy.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in energy policy analysis, research, or advocacy.
• In-depth knowledge of energy markets, technologies (renewables, efficiency, storage), and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to conduct rigorous quantitative and qualitative policy analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex policy issues clearly and persuasively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on current and emerging energy policies.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing energy regulations and propose policy reforms.
• Develop policy briefs, reports, and white papers for dissemination to policymakers and the public.
