The Talent Hive is seeking a Legal and Contract Manager to provide comprehensive legal and contract management support across the Group and subsidiaries, focusing on project development, energy operations, and risk management. Qualifications

• LLB and Admitted Attorney qualifications.
• 8+ years experience with top law firm and in-house experience preferred.
• Contract Management, IPP Project experience/renewable energy project experience.
• EPC Contract Management experience (Claims and disputes).
• IPP Project Development & Construction (Solar and Wind Farms) / EPC and PPA negotiations experience.
• Outstanding business acumen, decisive critical thinking skills and subtle professional confidence.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities, work.
• Independently operate in a fast-paced, dynamic and matrixed environment.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate and manage project development agreements (joint ventures, land leases, MOUs, JDA, sale-leasebacks).
• Support bid activities and ensure bids meet RFP requirements.
• Coordinate engagements with authorities (environment, municipalities) as needed.
• Draft and negotiate PPAs and PDAs for commercial/industrial clients.
• Draft, negotiate and advise on MSAs, Construction Management and Operations & Maintenance agreements.
• Manage risks in Energy Operations contracts.
• Set up IPP project records from Tender to O&M in full lifecycle.
• Maintain risk/opportunity matrix focusing on contract execution.
• Support Project Risk Management procedures.
• Oversee change order procedure; validate requests and maintain records.
• Manage claims with internal/external legal teams; coordinate investigations.
• Provide guidance to contract admins and project teams on contracts.
• Keep employees informed on key contracts and obligations.
• Support project managers in reporting to Lenders Technical Advisor and coordinating with contract administrator/proposal engineer.
