Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with a valid Wireman's license (EL or equivalent).
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as an Electrician with a focus on industrial installations.
• Proven experience with industrial power systems, motor controls, VFDs, and PLCs.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety principles and relevant regulations (SANS).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and team leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in industrial facilities.
• Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute installations.
• Install and connect power distribution panels, switchgear, motor control centers, and other industrial electrical equipment.
• Perform wiring and installation of lighting, power, and control systems according to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, implementing effective repair solutions.
• Ensure all work complies with the latest South African National Standards (SANS) and local electrical regulations.
