Placements24 is seeking a Senior Electrical Systems Architect for a remote-first engineering team. You will define and oversee the architecture of complex electrical systems for next-generation products, translating high-level requirements into detailed designs to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.

This global, remote role requires deep expertise in system design principles, collaboration with distributed teams, and mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical system design and architecture.
• Extensive knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, embedded systems, and signal integrity.
• Experience with system modeling and simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining the overall architecture of complex electrical systems, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps and business objectives.
• Defining system requirements, interfaces, and performance specifications for electrical components and subsystems.
• Leading the selection of key electrical technologies and components, evaluating their suitability for intended applications.
• Creating detailed system design documentation, including block diagrams, schematics, and design guides.
• Collaborating closely with hardware design teams, firmware engineers, and software developers to ensure cohesive system development.
• Performing trade-off analyses and making critical design decisions to optimize system performance, cost, and power consumption.
• Guiding and mentoring junior engineers in architectural design principles and best practices.
• Staying abreast of emerging electrical technologies and industry trends, and proposing innovative solutions.
