Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical power distribution systems engineering.
• Strong knowledge of distribution equipment, protection systems and network operation.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) with ECSA is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and implement upgrades and extensions to the electrical distribution network.
• Conduct system analysis including load forecasting, fault studies, and protection coordination.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of distribution substations, switchgear, and overhead/underground lines.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements and utility policies.
• Manage capital projects related to network improvements from initiation to completion.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to field crews and junior engineers.
