Job description

Applicants must have the following requirements :

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current specialisation)
• Must be registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer.
• Must have 8-10 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on heavy current applications
• Must have a track record in electrical reticulation and overhead line design.
• Must have experience in a consulting engineering environment.
• Must have Project management experience on electrical infrastructure projects
• Must have knowledge and proficiency in ReticMaster software and electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, and DIgSILENT PowerFactory
• Must have knowledge of electrical protection systems and relay coordination, switchgear, transformers, and power system equipment.
• Must have experience with renewable energy integration projects
• Must have knowledge of power system modelling and simulation
• Must have a valid driver's license and willingness to travel
