A leading international engineering firm is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (BSc / BEng / BTech) who is professionally registered with ECSA (Pr Eng / Pr Tech) or close to achieving registration. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to step into a leadership position, mentoring a team of young engineers while contributing to the design, simulation, and development of complex electrical systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of junior engineers and designers.
• Conduct LV insulation studies and short circuit design.
• Contribute to Eskom cable system design (cable systems, renewable energy plants) and related power network projects.
• Perform advanced simulations using DIgSILENT PowerFactory.
• Drive innovation and excellence within the design department.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• BSc / BEng / BTech in Electrical Engineering.
• 4–8 years' experience in electrical design within a consulting engineering environment.
• ECSA registration (Pr Eng / Pr Tech) or near completion.
• Proven experience in power systems design and cable philosophy.
