Job summary

Energy Drive Projects is seeking an experienced Electrical Draftsperson to join our team in Mahogany Ridge, Pinetown. The role focuses on creating detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams, reporting to the Engineering & Projects Manager.

You will collaborate with engineers to deliver accurate designs that meet industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years of drafting experience, and strong proficiency in EPLAN and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical drafting.
• Proficiency in EPlan/AutoCAD software.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and layout diagrams for electrical panels based on specifications and requirements.
• Investigate and create Single Line Diagrams used to model fault level, load usage and coordination.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop and refine electrical designs.
• Ensure all drawings and plans are accurate, complete, and adhere to industry standards and regulations.
• Review and revise drawings as necessary to incorporate feedback, changes, and updates throughout the project lifecycle.
