Job summary

Triz Engineering Solutions in Centurion seeks a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to lead the electrical design function across commercial vehicle programmes. You will oversee wiring design, controller integration, CAD/PDM outputs, and governance while maintaining strong customer relationships to deliver on time and to high standards.

The role requires 15+ years of post-graduate experience in automotive electrical design, willingness to travel overseas, and proficiency with AI-enabled engineering

Qualifications

BEng, BSc or BTech in Electrical Engineering.
15+ years post-graduate design experience in automotive electrical design.
Willingness to travel overseas for variable periods.
Experience leveraging AI-enabled engineering and digital tools for governance and compliance.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead a cohesive electrical design team.
Implement strategies to optimize team performance and collaboration.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to prioritize design resources.
Manage project timelines to achieve milestones and address deviations.
Lead internal and customer design reviews and ensure design integrity.
