Qualifications

• BEng Electrical Engineering or equivalent; Pr.Eng/Tech status preferred.
• 10+ years post-qualification experience in site operations and electrical design of mining infrastructure.
• Experience in heavy industrial plant layout and engineering design environments.
• Proficiency with industry-standard electrical design and simulation software.
• Strong knowledge of SANS standards and MHSA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex electrical and automation designs in line with client specs and standards.
• Oversee cost management, variations, and value engineering across projects.
• Mentor engineers and supervise on-site testing, commissioning, and documentation.
• Prepare technical Scopes of Work and tender documentation.
• Collaborate with clients during contract phases (NEC, FIDIC, GCC).
