Job summary

Network Finance seeks an experienced Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer to contribute to the design and delivery of complex projects in Gauteng, South Africa. The ideal candidate holds a B.Tech or B.Eng and has over 15 years of relevant EC&I experience, capable of challenging conventions and driving better engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Must hold a B.Tech or B.Eng in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Over 15 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Extensive EC&I design experience and strong understanding of standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead EC&I design activities across projects.
• Develop and review EC&I deliverables per specs and standards.
• Prepare electrical, instrumentation and control system designs and drawings.
• Coordinate EC&I with mechanical, process, and piping disciplines.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers and project teams.
• Identify design risks and opportunities to improve solutions.
• Challenge existing practices to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Review specifications, equipment selections and calculations.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors.
• Participate in design reviews and project execution activities.
• Ensure designs meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
