Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
10+ years of progressive drilling engineering experience.
Minimum 3 years in lead or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive drilling programs, including well design, casing, and cementing strategies.
Manage drilling operations on-site and remotely, ensuring safety regulations and policies are followed.
Oversee selection and management of drilling equipment, services, and personnel.
Conduct daily performance reviews, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Optimize drilling parameters to improve rates of penetration and reduce NPT.
Prepare detailed drilling cost estimates and track expenditures against budget.
Ensure compliance with EHS regulations.
Mentor and supervise junior drilling engineers and rig personnel.
Collaborate with reservoir, geoscience, and completions engineers to achieve project goals.
Promote innovative drilling technologies and techniques.
