Job summary

Dante Personnel is seeking a skilled Draughtsman with at least five years of experience in steel, manufacturing or fabrication. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SipNEST and Autodesk Inventor is required, with strong knowledge of steel grades, plate specs, laser cutting and profiling.

You will interpret technical drawings, liaise with customers, and contribute to nesting, material optimisation and cost quotations while using ERP or production management systems. A valid driver's licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years’ draughting experience in steel, manufacturing or fabrication.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SipNEST and Autodesk Inventor.
• Strong knowledge of steel grades, plate specifications, laser cutting and profiling.
• Experience in nesting, material optimisation, costing and quotations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and liaise with customers.
• Experience with ERP or production management systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 will be advantageous.
• Valid driver’s licence.
