Job summary

The Road Accident Fund in Centurion, Gauteng, is looking for an experienced IT professional to lead the design, development and maintenance of applications under the Digital Delivery mandate. You will drive system design, coding, testing and documentation while ensuring alignment with RAF standards and DevOps practices.

The role requires 5–7 years in SDLC, strong Power Platform and API integration skills, and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree/ Advanced Diploma in IT related field.
• 5-7 years’ experience in the software development (SDLC) environment.
• Experience in writing Application Integration Programs.
• Experience in UML.
• Experience in Power Platform solutions.
• Experience with API integration (RESTful APIs).

Responsibilities

• Design the system in accordance with architectural standards.
• Develop/ enhance/ maintain programs per RAF standards.
• Document programs and assist in training manuals.
• Facilitate software testing and QA activities.
• Fix identified bugs/ defects and align with DevOps/ CI/CD.
• Design database structures following relational database principles.
• Develop interfaces and automated workflows.
• Contribute to native or cross‑platform mobile app development.
• Track and report development progress to supervisor.
• Manage communications with internal and external stakeholders.
