Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Red Seal Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This senior position requires someone with strong technical expertise, proven leadership in a workshop environment, and the ability to deliver high quality service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and carry out repairs and maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems of our equipment.
• Perform detailed inspections and diagnostics to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Conduct and manage Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI), ensuring all equipment meets company standards before delivery.
• Support delivery processes, including on-site operational training, testing, and equipment handovers when required.
• Manage workshop scheduling, job allocation, and vehicle maintenance to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, stock movements, and workshop activities.
• Provide remote troubleshooting and technical support to clients and collaborate with the Sales team on customer requirements.
• Support the improvement of workshop systems and procedures.

Requirements

• Red Seal qualified Diesel Mechanic (Required)
• Minimum 5 years hands on diesel mechanic experience prior to Red Seal Qualification.
• Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable own transport.
