Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer to join our IT operations team in Welkom. You will bridge software development and IT operations, designing scalable CI/CD pipelines and managing IaC-driven infrastructure across cloud platforms.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in DevOps, strong Linux system administration, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, scripting with Python/Bash/PowerShell, and experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or a similar role, with a strong understanding of system administration.
• Proficiency with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience scripting with languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Solid understanding of cloud computing principles and experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
