Job Description

• Design, implement, and maintain DevOps solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
• Lead system enhancements, automation initiatives, and client‑driven development projects.
• Provide technical support and ensure service delivery standards are met.
• Mentor and support team members, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain scripts, infrastructure-as-code solutions, and automated deployment processes.
• Monitor and optimise server, network, and virtualisation environments.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver innovative and reliable IT solutions.
• Prepare reports on team performance, project progress, and client requirements.
• Ensure adherence to DevOps best practices, security standards, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Valid driver's licence and own transport.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in IT infrastructure management.
• 3–5 years' experience with Linux, Windows Server, networking, and software development.
• Experience with virtualisation technologies such as VMware, Hyper‑V, or KVM.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, and infrastructure automation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PHP, NodeJS, or Perl.
• Experience with Git, Jira, SQL/NoSQL databases, and API integrations.
• Strong networking knowledge (Cisco, Mikrotik, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Relevant certifications and container orchestration experience will be advantageous.
