The Hunter and Central Coast Development Corporation (HCCDC) is seeking a Senior Development Manager to support its objective of creating thriving communities across the Hunter and Central Coast.
HCCDC is a State Government agency within the Department of Planning Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI) and the primary driver and coordinator of economic and urban development across the Hunter and Central Coast regions.
HCCDCs chief objectives include creating economic growth stimulating private investment in new housing supply and employment and creating vibrant communities. This includes urban renewal projects in Newcastles Honeysuckle and Broadmeadow precincts delivering significant public parks in Honeysuckle and Gosford managing the Mount Penang Parklands on the Central Coast and facilitating development outcomes for land holdings at Cockle Creek and West Wallsend.
Reporting to the relevant Director the Senior Development Manager will lead urban renewal projects in the Hunter and Central Coast. You will have accountability and responsibility for the planning approvals delivery financial control and disposal of these projects. Critical to the success of this role is identifying and building relationships with targeted community and public and private stakeholders to forge secure and deliver partnership opportunities.
This senior position will demonstrate an innovative and adaptable approach which supports the achievement of HCCDCs vision to grow diverse jobs and create more homes and attractive lifestyle opportunities in the Hunter and Central Coast regions.
