Job summary

A well-known food company in KwaZulu-Natal is seeking a Senior Debtor and Creditors Clerk to manage the debtors and creditors functions, including processing supplier and customer invoices. The ideal candidate will have 4 years of relevant experience and an Accounting or Finance qualification. Strong communication skills and experience with Sage 200 Evolution are also essential. This role offers a hands-on approach to financial operations within the organization.

Job description

The Senior Debtor and Creditors Clerk is responsible for completing the debtors and creditors function, cash book processing and reconciling accounts.

Responsibilities

1. Processing of supplier invoices
2. Correct allocations of supplier invoices
3. Prepare supplier payments as per SOP
4. Processing of customer invoices
5. Follow up on customer PODS
6. Run customer statements as per SOP

Requirements

1. 4 Years experience in a similar role.
2. Accounting / Finance Degree or Diploma
3. Sound understanding of the finance function and a hands‑on approach
4. 4 years’ experience on Sage 200 Evolution or similar package
5. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation
