Placements24 is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our Centurion analytics team, focusing on predictive analytics to forecast business trends and opportunities. You will manage the full data science lifecycle from data collection to deployment, collaborating with stakeholders to translate insights into actionable strategies.

The ideal candidate has advanced degrees in quantitative fields, strong ML knowledge, and experience with Python or R, SQL, and visualization tools.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in statistics, data science, mathematics, computer science, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience in building and deploying predictive models.
• Proficiency in Python or R.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms (regression, classification, time series, clustering).
• Experience with SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy predictive models using statistical and ML techniques.
• Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights.
