iLaunch is seeking a Senior Data Scientist in Johannesburg to oversee the full model development cycle, from data extraction to presenting findings to stakeholders.

The role focuses on monitoring portfolios, balancing risk and sales goals, developing risk models, and building credit scorecards with a strong emphasis on IFRS9 principles and modern ML techniques. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and bring 5+ years of credit data science experience to the table.

Formación

• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics or related field is required.
• 5 years of experience in Credit Data Science in Retail or Financial Services is required.
• Strong understanding of credit risk models and machine learning techniques is essential.

Job Description
