Job description

CORE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Senior Data Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data and AI architecture solutions that support the organisation's strategic objectives. The role will be responsible for KPIs including, but not limited to, system uptime, data quality, compliance rate, delivery timelines, and stakeholder satisfaction. Enabling AI/ML capabilities through scalable data platforms, ensuring data readiness for AI use cases, and guiding AI solution implementation across the enterprise will also be required.

Qualifications:

• BSc in Computer Science or an equivalent degree
• At least 10 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 8 years in a data architect or data engineering role
• Proven experience in designing and implementing AI/ML solutions in enterprise environments
• Exposure to MLOps and AI model operationalization on platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud

Knowledge:

• Healthcare industry experience
• Database management systems, especially Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with databases like ADABAS, NoSQL, and cloud computing platforms
• Data mining and modeling tools such as ERWin, Enterprise Architect, and Visio
• Programming languages including Python, Java, Natural (SAG), C/C++, Perl
• Operating systems like UNIX, Linux, Solaris, Windows, Z/OS
• AI and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and knowledge of AI solution design (NLP, computer vision, recommendation systems)
