About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly analytical and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join their remote team, focusing on optimizing their supply chain operations. This position is crucial for driving data-informed decision-making across procurement, logistics, and inventory management within the FMCG sector. You will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets to identify inefficiencies, forecast demand, and recommend strategic improvements. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver, adept at using advanced analytical tools and techniques, and passionate about leveraging data to enhance supply chain performance in a remote-first environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets related to supply chain operations, including inventory levels, transit times, and supplier performance.


• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain management.


• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in supply chain data to pinpoint areas for cost reduction and efficiency gains.


• Collaborate with supply chain managers and other stakeholders to translate business needs into analytical requirements.


• Build predictive models for demand forecasting and inventory optimization.


• Present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, with a strong focus on supply chain analytics .


• Proficiency in SQL, Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.


• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.


• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and forecasting methods.
