Job summary

Unifi Africa is seeking a Data Analyst to analyze complex data sets and deliver actionable insights that drive data-informed decisions. You will design and implement visualizations and solutions using GCP tools like Looker and BigQuery, collaborating with stakeholders to optimize processes and support business growth across Africa.

The role requires 5–8 years’ experience, proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization, and a strong eye for detail to produce clear, data-driven recommendations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 - 8 years’ experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
• Proficient in GCP, Google BigQuery, SQL, Python, and data visualization tools such as Looker.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Experienced in handling and analyzing large datasets efficiently.
• Skilled in statistical analysis, data modeling, and deriving actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data manipulation tools.
• Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
• Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
