MAIN PURPOSE

Senior Analyst within Chief Finance Office will be responsible for the following: To support the Reporting Lead by utilising analytics to examine business drivers and provide insights that explain financial variances and customer behaviour.

This role will leverage data-driven analysis to enhance forecasting accuracy and identify opportunities for business improvement.

The Finance Data Analyst will play a crucial role in delivering detailed analytical and actionable insights to drive informed decision-making and support the organization's strategic goals.

KEY OUTCOMES

• Tracking of key profitability metrics
• Interactive dashboards that track and display key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Recommendations for improving financial performance and operational efficiency
• In-depth analysis of key business drivers and their impact on financial performance
• Identification of trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
• Contribute to ad-hoc analytical projects
• Support the forecasting team with trends

Stakeholder / Resource Management

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Minimum: 5 years experience ideally in the following disciplines (Finance, Economics, Econometrics, Quantitative Analysis, Mathematics or Statistics)
• Proficiency in coding languages such as SAS, Python, SQL; MS SQL Server administration is an advantage; Redshift development is an advantage
• Practical experience in using analytics to solve complex business problems would be advantageous
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
