Job summary

Pty in Cape Town is seeking a Senior D365 Developer to design, develop, configure, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions across the organisation.

Under the Technical Lead, you will translate requirements into platform implementations, promote out-of-the-box capabilities, and contribute to ALM, CI/CD, and governance. You will build plugins, APIs, and integrations while ensuring quality and performance.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of software development focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Dataverse.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure Dynamics 365 and Dataverse solutions.
• Build and maintain Model-Driven Apps, Power Apps, and Custom Pages.
• Configure forms, views, dashboards, business rules, and security models.
• Develop reusable platform components and solution accelerators.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and Power Platform best practices.
• Develop and maintain Dynamics 365 Plugins using C# and .NET.
• Build and consume Custom APIs and Custom Actions.
• Extend Dynamics 365 functionality using supported extensibility frameworks.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
• Implement integrations between Dynamics 365 and internal or external applications.
• Support CI/CD processes and automated deployment pipelines.
• Maintain source control, branching strategies, and release documentation.
• Promote modern engineering practices and platform governance standards.
• Develop unit tests and support testing (unit/integration/UAT).
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Support monitoring, operational readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.
