Job summary

Moladira Skills is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to act as a technical authority protecting information assets. You will lead SIEM/SOC operations, enforce IAM and data protection, and champion Secure SDLC across cloud-native environments.

You will coordinate vulnerability remediation, threat intelligence, and regulatory compliance while mentoring junior analysts. You will bridge hands-on security engineering with risk governance, ensuring robust defenses and incident response readiness

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
• 7+ years of hands-on information security experience in enterprise environments.
• Proven track record across security operations, threat detection, DevSecOps, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Oversee enterprise SIEM/SOC operations and end-to-end incident handling.
• Enforce IAM: MFA, SSO, PAM and data protection policies.
• Lead Secure SDLC with SAST/DAST/CI/CD security controls and API security.
• Secure cloud, container, and Kubernetes environments; manage CSPM/CNAPP tooling.
• Coordinate vulnerability management and threat intelligence incorporation.
• Support governance, risk, and compliance with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS, POPIA.
• Mentor junior staff and drive security awareness.
