Job summary

The ideal candidate has 7+ years ICT experience, 5+ years in cybersecurity, solid experience with firewalls, IAM, incident response, cloud security, and Microsoft security stack certifications.

Qualifications

• Matric with 10 years experience or a Bachelors Degree or National Diploma in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related analytical field.
• 7+ years experience in ICT.
• At least 5 years hands-on cybersecurity experience in an enterprise environment.
• Direct experience managing or administering enterprise security technologies (e.g., firewalls, endpoint security, IAM, email security, or security monitoring tools).
• Involvement in incident response/threat investigation and vulnerability management programmes.
• Practical experience securing cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and implementing security controls within these platforms.
• Certifications or hands-on experience with the Microsoft Security Stack: CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, Azure AZ-500
